“We enjoyed staying at this unique silo house in Dorset. It was located close to Manchester. The property was lovely and in a very quiet neighborhood. As noted in other reviews the 3rd floor bedroom was two narrow flights of stairs down to the bathroom and roomy living room area. Not mentioned was the fact that the bedrooms did not have doors which was fine for us but surprising. The kitchen was margianally equipped for cooking but cute and servicable for breakfast and coffee. A fun short term stay!”

“Not worth the money!!! Needs updated WiFi router, modern television, improved lighting, renovated kitchen, Upgraded bathroom. Way too expensive for the lack of amenities!!!”

“The home was attractive and spacious, but our stay was affected by several significant issues. The day before arrival, we were informed of a known bee infestation, but an exterminator could not address it before or during our stay. The home did not appear properly prepared for guests. A strong sewer odor permeated the upstairs, where temperatures exceeded 90 degrees. The fans merely circulated hot air instead of drawing in cooler air from outside. There were also cleanliness concerns: the coffee maker was full of mold, and the kitchen drawers were very dirty. The television could not connect to any services or devices, rendering it unusable. Most concerning was the advertised “6th bedroom,” which has no secondary means of egress. If a fire blocked the hallway, anyone sleeping there would have no alternate escape route. Although spacious and attractive, the house requires substantially better preparation, maintenance, and attention to guest safety before it should be rented again.”

“Escape into a peaceful and relaxing place. The barn/silo was beautiful and located in a very peaceful setting, but close to many activities. Even though we had one little hiccup with the keypad, it was handled promptly and quickly. The place felt just like a home away from home. Highly recommend the barn/silo for your next stay!”
