“Great cottage for a getaway. The island is beautiful and access to the kayaks and canoes was great. The ferry was always available and the operators were great. I will say this house is definitely more of a cabin and not a finished house. If you’re prepared for more of a rustic vibe this place is awesome. We did have some bugs since the window screens weren’t great.”

“Stayed here for a laid back bachelorette weekend. Giant charming historic home. Great for a large group - tons of sleeping arrangements and kitchen/pantry wing is stocked to oblivion. The island is beautiful - 25 minute uber ride to Burlington. The island caretakers were awesome and accommodating. We had a great time.”

“We very much enjoyed our week on Garden Island. The staff and the residents were superbly friendly and made us feel at home. We stayed in Willow, which is rustic, but totally fine, and has the advantage of being right by the water, a boon for our water-loving grandchildren. The ferry service is easy and enjoyable to use.”
