Vacasa in Utah

Vacasa's guest reviews across Utah. See homeowner reviews of Vacasa on their profile.

Vacasa's guest rating in Utah of 4.63 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract. I’ll start by saying this place is darling. Not huge but thoughtful in its spaces. Master is great, deck is excellent, bedroom setups were nice and basement tv space is really functional. Like other reviews state we thought the weeds really overrun the pickleball court and outdoor space. It takes away from the overall experience for sure. Seems like a newer place though, so we understand it takes time to get it all done. Cleanliness wasn’t ideal. The windows in the kitchen had these little bugs coming through the actual frame of the window and they were everywhere! Food, dishes, cabinets, etc… I cleaned them up 3 times and then I gave up. That really put a damper on the experience!! Fridge didn’t work from the time we got there to the time we left, 62 degrees inside. Freezer also broken. Vacasa never came to look at it only apologized and refunded $150. The food we lost was worth more than that! A/C ran 100% of the time and never cooled to the set temp. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Walked in and the place was extremely dirty. Towels and linen were still piled on beds and in bathrooms. Trash left on counters and in the middle of the kitchen. Nothing had been clean previous to our arrival. Attempted to call and ended up having to contact abnb support due to know response. After the time given for their response had passed they sent multiple texts to assist. Took 3 hours with customer service and thanks to abnb customer service we were given a full refund and ended up at a much better place. I’d post pics if I could.

Our stay was overall great. We had 4 adults & 4 kiddos and we had room to be together and separate. The bedroom & bathroom ratio is perfect. The home has a garage fridge added bonus. A hot tub at the home would make this Airbnb top notch in our opinion. The home comes with passes to Ideal Beach which is another huge bonus. We would stay at this home again. We had an issue with a funky smell when we first arrived at the home. We opened windows and doors to air it out but found it was coming from the kitchen sink. We reached out through the app and someone responded right away both days we asked but unfortunately no one came to fix the funky smell issue. We used cleaning supplies to try and take care of it ourselves but it did linger through our stay.

The house was beautiful and for the most part clean. There were limited supplies. Not enough paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, the shampoo & conditioner bottles in 3 bathrooms were empty or close to. Bloody feminine products were left in 2 bathrooms trash cans. Trash can in garage was left full. There weren’t any spatulas/spoons for cooking. No lids to cooking pans/pots, not one class plate/dish-ware for food prep. 2 knives broke almost cutting a guest. There was grease build up on the grill almost burning another guest and causing a fire, also ruining our dinner. This was for a wedding and the sprinklers would not shut off. The amenities that were explained in the post were lead to think the pool, sauna, & hot tub were onsite, not 1/2 mile away with limited guests and access. Very disappointed with the experience as were my guests that ended up leaving early. Especially for the price we paid. I submitted a receipt because we also ran out of propane on the wedding night.

First day there, daughter in-law checked her sheets which were filled with pet hair, she pulled off sheets inorder to wash and mattress cover had huge urine stain. We then checked all bedding which were all covered with pet hair. I had to drive to local store to purchase laundry detergent because there was NONE provided and then had to wash ALL bedding in order to sleep the 1st night. When we walked into rental we noticed hair all over, I pulled out vacuum cleaner and ONLY vacuumed living/kitchen area which I emptied vacuum twice(have picture) of the discusting filth. Next we checked plates/bowls/coffee cups/utensils/etc which were filthy, house only had dishwashing liquid for ONE load. I had to purchase dishwashing liquid so we could eat our food after preparation. The refrigerator keep blinking replace filter, I looked on side/behind and the refrigerator hasn't been pulled out and cleaned in YEARS. I realize this is a pet friendly thats why we rented, but would NOT recommend.
