“This beautiful home has a serene setting, but preparation and maintenance fell short. All three toilets and the master shower needed maintenance before use. The courtyard fireplace lacked propane upon arrival; the master fireplace and two fans never worked. Some hallway lights were out; others flickered. Pool doors did not lock, raising safety concerns. Despite adjustments, the pool was too cold for comfortable use. A bedroom lacked a window covering, affecting privacy and sleep. No operating instructions were provided; even maintenance struggled with features. Earlier reviews that appeared to describe this home mentioned similar issues still present when we arrived. Several problems persisted throughout our stay. Too much vacation time went toward problems, and we could not fully enjoy the advertised amenities that shaped our expectations. We hope these concerns are addressed so future guests can enjoy all the property offers.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! The house is exactly as pictured- everything feels brand new and is gorgeous in person. There were a few kinks, but for the most part the stay went well. The property management company was fairly responsive but couldn’t fix all the issues. The shower had an electronic power button that wasn’t working when we arrived, but they fixed the next day. The sliding glass doors to the pool did not lock which was a big concern of ours- it feels like a security issue for sure and maintenance said they would contact the door company but it was not fixed while we were there. Another major concern is the massive glass doors in the bedrooms with no window coverings and a house right outside the doors that can see right in. This needs to be fixed asap to provide adequate privacy. It would also be nice if they would include some small things, like hair dryers and soap in the bathroom but the kitchen was well stocked. Overall a beautiful stay!”

“The place was nice, great location and we had a great time”

“Our group enjoyed the stay at the Bear Lake Airbnb. The space is huge and has a nicely appointed kitchen. It is hosted by a company so the experience felt less personal than if it’s a hosted Airbnb by a private owner. In general, the amenities were good, the place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of rules listed out but they were easy to comply with for our group (no parties, no smoking, etc.). It seemed as though that was the central focus of a lot of the communication rather than guest comfort. They charge for things like late checkout or early check-in, rather than making a reasonable accommodation if possible or just saying that they can’t make it work. So, it’s a different (more hotel-like) Airbnb experience.”

“Place was great, very comfortable with space and beds for the large family gathering we had. There were a few things that didn’t meet our expectation based on what we paid. Grill was super dirty, hot tub water was also brown. There was a dry grape and trash on the dining floor. There wasn’t a mop readily available for guests, meaning that for a spill we used up most of the supplied roll of paper towels. We found a large stain of some sort on a bed skirt. Overall my rating was lower due to cleanliness. They do ask for the floors to be vacuumed and swept before departure and sheets and pillow cases removed but we weren’t met with the same standard upon arrival. We loved having a pool and our kids spent a lot of time in the pool (about two days) but every one of the them developed a skin rash from excessive chlorine exposure. Despite that we had a great time and hope to have a better experience next time.”
