Bear Lake Luxury Rentals
4.70Visit website
Bear Lake Luxury Rentals's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Our group enjoyed the stay at the Bear Lake Airbnb. The space is huge and has a nicely appointed kitchen. It is hosted by a company so the experience felt less personal than if it’s a hosted Airbnb by a private owner. In general, the amenities were good, the place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of rules listed out but they were easy to comply with for our group (no parties, no smoking, etc.). It seemed as though that was the central focus of a lot of the communication rather than guest comfort. They charge for things like late checkout or early check-in, rather than making a reasonable accommodation if possible or just saying that they can’t make it work. So, it’s a different (more hotel-like) Airbnb experience.”airbnb

“Place was great, very comfortable with space and beds for the large family gathering we had. There were a few things that didn’t meet our expectation based on what we paid. Grill was super dirty, hot tub water was also brown. There was a dry grape and trash on the dining floor. There wasn’t a mop readily available for guests, meaning that for a spill we used up most of the supplied roll of paper towels. We found a large stain of some sort on a bed skirt. Overall my rating was lower due to cleanliness. They do ask for the floors to be vacuumed and swept before departure and sheets and pillow cases removed but we weren’t met with the same standard upon arrival. We loved having a pool and our kids spent a lot of time in the pool (about two days) but every one of the them developed a skin rash from excessive chlorine exposure. Despite that we had a great time and hope to have a better experience next time.”airbnb

“We had a great time. Home is lovely! Pickle ball court was a huge hit! The ground floor outside could have been swept better around the doors and furniture. The beds were very comfortable. The house was clean and cozy. We would stay again”airbnb

“After spending $8,000 we were extremely disappointed in our stay and management- 1st the door code didn't work- waited for a text answer with a different code which did work. Hot tub was filthy when we arrived-with flies, bugs, hair, sand, water so low that when jets were turned on- water sprayed every where! I had to ask several times to get this resolved- the pool guy came but his vacuum was broken and never did get out the sand- so my wife, myself and most adults didn't use the hot tub for our 4 day stay. Kids complained about blood on sheets, bed cover, sand, hairs on sheets (we sent pictures)- table so sticky that we had to pry off a playing card with a knife. No basics: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, tin foil- overall disappointed and do not recommend staying here. Sent request for a partial refund.”airbnb

“Positives: The kids LOVED the arcade games and pirate ship in the backyard. Those extras are not expected but incredibly fun and unique. The back deck and patio overlook the lake and beautiful scenery. TVs in every room is another luxury that everyone enjoyed. There is lots of dining and gathering spaces. Negatives, the AC was broken for 2/3 of our stay and it never fully cooled down the entire stay. When we first reported the problem, we were told everything was working normally and there was no problem. The house reached 81° and I had to reach out multiple times to get the ball moving on a repair. There were earwigs. Everywhere. On the walls, on the floor, crawling in our luggage. Lamps and windowsills had a thick layer of dust and hundreds of dead bugs. The bathrooms weren’t fully cleaned and had multiple spots in the toilets and debris in corners. We were super bummed it was so uncomfortably hot for our trip. We paid a lot and did not love our stay.”airbnb

“We enjoyed the main house! It was as advertised. Lots of room and well maintained. The landscape was beautiful and scenic. We were NOT told that the air conditioning did not work in the detached bunk house or that there was no air conditioning in the attached garage/playroom. We lots of teenagers at our reunion - it was hard to find places to hang out without those places being cooled in the middle of July. Some evenings most of the teens had to find couches and floors in the main house to sleep since detached bunkhouse was too hot. Lots of bathrooms and bedrooms in the main house. If you only used the house, I think you would enjoy this place.”airbnb

“Pros: Beautiful home with incredible views of Bear Lake. There was plenty of room for our party of 16. Cons: Unfortunately, we left our visit feeling like our stay did not match the price point that we paid. I did a quick walkthrough and noticed a couch in the theater room was completely broken. I messaged them about it thinking they must not know, but they messaged back that they were aware. I didn’t think it would affect our stay, but it would’ve been nice to know beforehand. The next day, I looked at the couch closer and there were several staples sticking out of the wood which is a huge safety hazard. 2.) We had 2 full days there. On our first day, we had 4 unannounced maintenance visits which is actually not allowed according to their strict contract they make you sign. We got absolutely no heads up and had multiple men in and out of the house. 3.) Cleanliness issues including orange stained shower curtains, hair on beds, dirty windows, and extremely poor water pressure.”airbnb

“Luxurious. Spacious. Best house we have ever rented. You feel like you’re staying at a five star resort. Only bummer was that the oven and dishwasher didn’t work. So we had to hand wash dishes. But they had every appliance known to man, so we had no problem making dinner and we also had a bbq. The access to the lake was muddy but it wasn’t a long walk straight from your back door to the lake. They could invest some money into making the walk easier but no big deal. View was amazing. We fished and kayaked right outside in the backyard. We walked and took morning jogs to the nearby coffee shop and cinnamon roll shop. Mikes market was right down the street.”airbnb

“Amazing Location and Amazing House really stunning. On a negative note we were late checking in due to cleaners still cleaning and it need to be inspected, the sink got blocked on the second day but they were very responsive in coming out to fix, the coffee machine was dirty and still had old coffee in it, the Grill was absolutely disgusting and need to be cleaned which took 30mins, on the last night the 3rd shower broke and the previous occupants dishes were still in the dishwasher and need to be emptied. While we were informed before we arrived that basic amenity were not provided such as Salt pepper, cooking oil, shower soap and a hair dryer. For the price you would expect these basic items to be included like many other Airbnb’s.”airbnb

“Amazing place with great amenities. The hot tub likely needed a mid-winter clean, which can happen with large groups, but there were cans at the bottom and the water was murky enough that some of our group chose not to use it. The most frustrating part was the lack of shampoo and conditioner. After checking, it does mention they are not included, but with a group of 30 it is one of those small details that is easy to overlook and would have made the stay more convenient.”airbnb
