“Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by a pile of dog poo. On the way up the stairs, a step is warped and curled up leaving a rusty nail for us to step on and a lose step as a fall hazard. They have a great variety of front porch chairs to enjoy the views and the sounds, but a few are broken and the powered just left on the ground and the side table was broken and on the floor. Upon entering the house, it’s decorated beautifully, except the pet hair, everywhere. Each room had something broken, including the queen bed frame. Missing light bulbs, not enough batteries for the remotes, (1 of 3). A decorative salt shakers head was broken off. I could go on and on. Not worth the money you pay for this place.”

“The house itself was perfect! Every room had its own bathroom and shower which I loved. Only complaint was the beach entrance people kept getting stuck all day and night so it was a smidge loud.”

“Everything was perfect! The beach was a short walk from the house and the beach was very clean not overly crowded. We will definitely return on our next adventure. The house was well stocked had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi was great.”

“The property is located in a neighborhood with a mix of newer, moderately aged, and older homes in various states of repair. Beachy Keen falls into the middle category. The interior was very clean, nicely maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our only issue inside was that the ceiling fan in the master bedroom wasn't working. We notified the management promptly, but unfortunately it had not been repaired by the end of our stay. The exterior, however, is beginning to show the effects of years of exposure to the coastal environment. Faded paint, a few broken balusters on the upstairs railings, a loose stair tread, a heavily rusted grill (still usable with foil over the grate), and a gas fire pit that was completely rusted out and out of service all detracted from the property's curb appeal. None of these issues ruined our stay, but addressing them would go a long way toward making the home as welcoming on the outside as it is on the inside.”
