Son's Rio Cibolo in New Braunfels, Texas

“We originally booked a bell tent and cabana for 2 days, at Son's Guadalupe. A week ahead of our stay we were told that we had to move to a different location, so they moved us to Son's Blue River. Day 2 of our stay we found out we did not have a cabana, even though we had paid for one. We were told they didn't come with the stay at Son's Blue River but we could pay even more for one that day. They did not tell us about this bait and switch when we gave them the okay to move us to this location. This led to things going missing overnight since we thought the cabana was ours all weekend and we had to go to Don's Fish Camp on day 2. Luckily, we were able to track down our items. Eventually a $99 refund was given. The other issue we had was the bell tent itself. The zipper to get in and out was broken, water in tent entrance at check in, and it was moldy. We were told it was just dirt but we don't believe that. Bathrooms also needed to be cleaned more often. They were gross.”

“Place offered everything needed for us to have a fun and have a comfortable time. Lights inside the tent, electric plugs in tent and cabana. Plenty of seating area in the cabana. Personal bbq pit, steps away from river entrance. River floating trips available. Port a potty and restrooms w/ showers really close. Store for forgotten necessities. Kat at the property was amazing and Jamie via Airbnb answered all my questions. Looking back all we would have needed would be linen, pillows, cooler. We did take an electric griddle to cook breakfast on and used bbq pit at nighttime. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.”
