“Seven of us arrived latenight to attend graduation the next day, paying nearly $1,000 for 2 nights. The bathtub had excrement, bugs, and hair, we alerted the company and a cleaner came the next morning. Once that was addressed, we discovered more: a broken shower head spraying the wall and floor, bugs and crumbs on dishes, dead bugs and dust throughout the unit. Because it was close to tub, tall/elderly guests couldn't use the toilet comfortably. A train blared at 5:30&6:30 AM. Sheer curtains in the front bedroom faced a park with transient activity, no real privacy. Weeks before arrival, we received a threatening message demanding financial info or our reservation would be canceled, it turned out to be a scam tied to this listing. I submitted photos and requested a partial refund; management called our concerns "unfounded," offered $100, and added us to a never-rent-to list. I declined. I have excellent reviews across dozens of rentals and have never experienced this. AVOID.”
