“House was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and perfect amount of space for our 6 guests. Great location and easy to find. Will definitely have to go back again.”

“The house is decorated nicely if that is important, which it is to me. Flooring is really nice and the master bed super comfortable. I loved how much hot water was available. What I didn’t like was the house was dark- not a lot of natural light comes in. The kitchen appliances need updating and the kitchen needs a deep clean desperately and some oven mits. I had to use a hand towel to take my food out of the oven. They have a few spices but no salt or pepper and not a lot of kitchen stuff- maybe invest in a couple of baking sheets at a minimum. The front door lock was challenging. My code didn’t work despite entering the ridiculously long code numerous times but fortunately they had a backup plan with a lockbox with keys. That’s a whole other story but be patient and you’ll eventually figure out how it works. The best thing about this house is the quiet area and the deer sightings. I had so many deer in the yard all day which I enjoyed.”

“Overall, the house was comfortable, cozy, and clean. There were plenty of supplies, towels, and linens available, though we weren’t able to find a suitable blanket for the pull-out trundle—only throw blankets. While the home was generally clean, we did encounter a few cockroaches and several other insects during our stay. I appreciated that the host had a pest control company come out to spray the morning after I reported it. The only other issue we experienced was that someone came to check the sprinkler system without any prior notice. It was surprising to look outside and see a stranger walking around the backyard. Under normal circumstances it wouldn’t have been a concern, but the master bathroom has a window overlooking the yard, and it happened to be open at the time, allowing anyone outside to see directly into the bathroom. Thankfully I was already dressed, but it felt a bit intrusive and could have easily been avoided with a quick heads-up beforehand.”
