“Stayed about 3 months while our home was restored — was the closest available to our house, which drove our choice more than the listing itself. The backyard is prominently featured in the listing as a beautiful grassy space — in reality it was approximately 90% mud with scattered weeds and acorns. For a pet-friendly rental, this was a significant misrepresentation. We had two dead rats in the yard — appeared to have been killed by poison. This is a serious safety concern for pets, as secondary poisoning is a real risk. Pet-friendly properties should use alternatives that don’t endanger animals. The back fence had boulders used to block gaps. Inside, basic maintenance items required chasing down the host — missing curtain rod, an unreliable garbage disposal, also an unsafe electrical outlet, overflowing gutters. We understand a pet-friendly home sees more wear — but dirty walls and carpet well past replacing were surprising at this price point. On the plus side they were responsive.”

“This was a very convenient place for us to stay while our home was repaired. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The home was comfortable, clean, and accommodating for my husband, our fur babies and I. The backyard does need a little work. There was no grass in the backyard so my pups did not like using the back yard. However, there are amazing walking trails right across the street from the Airbnb. I would definitely recommend this place to others.”
