“While the home is aesthetically beautiful, our experience was extremely disappointing. What concerns me most is that previous reviews did not mention many of the issues we encountered. From arrival, we contacted the host about a sliding door that would not lock. As a group of women, we felt unsafe and had to use poles to secure the door ourselves. The garage code provided also did not work. We were given multiple codes to try, but none consistently worked, forcing us to enter the home, open the garage from inside, then return outside every time we parked. The home had dead and live cockroaches, red ants in both the kitchen and bathroom, stained sheets, and poor cleanliness overall. I had planned to cook a birthday dinner after grocery shopping, only to find the kitchen poorly equipped with just two saucepans, cookie sheets, and only ONE fork. Many planned activities were disrupted while dealing with these issues. Despite reporting concerns immediately, meaningful action wasn’t taken”
