While the home is aesthetically beautiful, our experience was extremely disappointing. What concerns me most is that previous reviews did not mention many of the issues we encountered. From arrival, we contacted the host about a sliding door that would not lock. As a group of women, we felt unsafe and had to use poles to secure the door ourselves. The garage code provided also did not work. We were given multiple codes to try, but none consistently worked, forcing us to enter the home, open the garage from inside, then return outside every time we parked. The home had dead and live cockroaches, red ants in both the kitchen and bathroom, stained sheets, and poor cleanliness overall. I had planned to cook a birthday dinner after grocery shopping, only to find the kitchen poorly equipped with just two saucepans, cookie sheets, and only ONE fork. Many planned activities were disrupted while dealing with these issues. Despite reporting concerns immediately, meaningful action wasn’t taken

Casa del Sol is a unique and creative mountain home that clearly reflects the love and care the owners have put into it. The mountain views are spectacular and one of the highlights of the property. As expected with a mountain home in Montana, we encountered wildlife and insects during our stay, including beetles, spiders, ticks, and mice. While this may not bother all guests, it’s something to be aware of when booking. Our biggest challenge was the check-in process. The host uses a third-party system, which created unnecessary step-delays. We did not receive our check-in information until after we had already checked in, and the home was not ready at our scheduled arrival time because cleaning was still being completed. We were delayed about an hour before we could begin unloading and settling in. The host was responsive to messages, but no accommodation was offered for the delayed check-in beyond asking for patience. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and the setting is amazi

This rental could be a pure gem as it has great views. However, we do hope Dream Rentals take heed to our concerns. We had many issues with this rental. Photos and video were provided. What I hope is that the owner and cleaning crew make improvements for future guests. There is an expectation when you are paying for a rental and it lists its amenities, that all of the listed amenities will be provided. One of our major complaints was over water safety. It was concerning to me to learn that a prior guest wrote in a review that when they got to the house that there was a note in the kitchen that instructed them not to drink the water. However, nothing was said to us to not drink the water. The only explanation I received was that the water was safe. They did not explain why the water wasn't safe to drink before our stay. I am hoping that all of these concerns will be promptly corrected for future guests. I want to thank Airbnb Support as to their help in resolving this for us.

The house is beautiful wish we could’ve stayed here, I drove 26 hours from Georgia for my graduation with my family and friends. 2 hours before showing up my reservation was cancelled due to them finding bed bugs .. which put me in such a bad inconvenience.

This is a beautiful property with absolutely stunning views. We were mostly happy with our stay, but there were three issues: 1) Per a sign in the kitchen, we were advised not to drink the house's tap water. Maybe that is common in Yellowstone rentals, but we received no advance notice of this. Upon arriving, we had to turn around and go pick up bottled water for the entire duration of the trip. 2) The house is advertised as a 5 bedroom, but there were actually 4 bedrooms. (The bed from the downstairs bedroom had been moved upstairs, making it a shared bedroom). We were a group of friends, so that wasn't a huge issue, but we did have couples that expected a bit more privacy. 3) We stayed in the house for just 2 days and ran out of toilet paper. We would have appreciated a bit of extra TP.

Excited when booking, disappointed upon arrival…. Booked this home specifically because of all the fun amenities available (pool table, arcade games, foosball table, pool games, etc.) Arrived to find there was no internet, we have a small child and the baby monitor needs Internet to function, but also just for ourselves to relax and watch anything on TV- we couldn’t do that the first night after our long drive. Then went to play the arcade games- only 1 worked out of 4…. My husband used to be an arcade technician- fixed 2 of them but one could not be fixed. The Host and AirBnB support sounded like there were working on getting the Internet issue resolved (supposedly couldn’t address until morning) but as the morning went on it suddenly became an ultimatum about whether we wanted to stay or leave- no resolution to fix the Internet? Again, husband tech savvy, found another modem at the house and got the internet running- no help from the Host. Also- Microwave doesn’t work properly.

Mixed feelings about this property. Mainly due to management. Pros: • Great location, easy access to transit • Whole unit has high ceilings, very spacious • Overall, pretty comfortable unit • Ample supply of coffee, paper products, etc Cons: • They collect a $250 security deposit outside of Airbnb. I had to chase them twice in the week following checkout to get it returned • Have to take out the trash and the instructions are poor. Ended up meeting the cleaner and she helped me. • The company tries to manage it via their own platform. That platform had the wrong info for wifi and they didn't respond to text via the # they provided on there • We only had one fob that opens the elevator. Made it difficult if our party wanted to separate. Won't provide another fob • Bedroom facing outside definitely comes with more noise from the outside/neighboring unit. Other bedroom doesn't have windows outside, but is bright due to having windows near the ceiling facing living room

Charged an extra $250 'deposit' that was never returned. Website is a tad buggy that makes it hard to get access to the unit.

There were a few questions and items that could have been addressed. Things like the apartment temperature and a few other small things (coffee creamers, door locks, and the temp issue stuck at 73, w no response) that would have made the stay a 5.

This home has great potential to offer “luxury” amenities and a relaxing stay, but is not currently meeting even basic standards for a rental (especially at listed price). Unfortunately due to neglect/lack of maintenance, most amenities listed in the property were unusable. Dead Asian Beatles all over the home under beds, heater broken downstairs (only pumps AC), mice droppings under kitchen counters, mold in jetted tub, downstairs bathroom had instant standing water in shower. At least 70% of recess lighting downstairs, the bulbs were out. I had an entire window blind fall and slice open my hand due to blinds being broken and not replaced prior to arrival. Our family spent over 2 hours cleaning up garbage (broken glass, plastic bins, metal, sharps (yes needles!!) so the kids could enjoy being down by the river. We did receive a 25% refund for the inconvenience of our stay, which is why I haven’t listed everything as 1star.
