“I was hesitant to book based on other reviews about roaches, but to my surprise the house was very clean, no roaches inside! It’s a great location, walking distance to the fishing pier. About 8 min drive to the public beach. Heb and Walmart very close by. Lots of options for food nearby. Beds are very comfortable. Overall we had a great time and a great stay.”

“Our stay was very disappointing. The home was not clean upon arrival—the floors had not been swept, and the front and back patios were dirty. We encountered numerous bugs inside the home, including roaches, spiders, earwigs, and etc. We initially found several dead bugs each day, but by the last few days, we were seeing live ones. Pest control was unable to come until the day we checked out, leaving our group, especially the children, uncomfortable and anxious about sleeping.I woke up in the middle of the night with an earwig on my arm while sleeping with my baby, making it difficult to feel safe or rest. While we understand that an occasional bug can happen, the number we experienced was excessive.Several dining chairs were loose or broken. To help make up for the issues we were offered a late checkout until 2p.m. on our departure day. However, the night before checkout, we were informed that a late checkout was not available forcing us to pack. The stay was stressful and unenjoyable.”

“We definitely enjoyed our stay! Even with finding a few dead water bugs/roaches upon arrival, it was still very well worth it. The host was responsive and made sure insect spray was available by dropping it off curbside, and we appreciated knowing the home is treated quarterly. 🤗 The house itself felt like the perfect beach getaway—comfortable, charming, and in an ideal location. Overall, we had a great experience and would gladly stay again!”
