“My husband and I stayed in the Garden House for a few days, and it was a cute place! Mostly quiet in the hills (neighbors left our their barking dogs for long periods), and service and WiFi issues as well. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of blankets. The only real issues we had were the shower curtains that were dirty brown and stained at the bottom, as well as the broken chairs, hammock, etc.”

“Overall the house was as described. Seemed to be more run down than photos would suggest with worn carpeting and stained furniture. Additionally one of the toilet seats was not secured and several hooks for towels were loose. We were excited to allow our child to play in the yard however the yard was definitely not child friendly with rusty gates, exposed wiring, rocky ground, metal debris throughout the yard. Also while close in proximity to main road in Dripping springs, there is not a pedestrian friendly pathway from the house into town—you have to cross a 5 lane highway and the nearest crossing is inaccessible from the house by sidewalk.”

“Haydon Cottage was adorable and the perfect location for visiting our family while having a peaceful place to go back to. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well appointed.”

“Such a beautiful place and a unique experience. The skylight offers incredible views from the bedroom. The area is serene. We enjoyed the common areas to relax. Highly recommend”

“House itself was great, just like the photos! HOWEVER, the door was open upon entry, the hot tub was also open (with piles of dirt in it), the bathrooms were still somewhat dirty (hairs under the toilet seat, hairs in the corner of the bathroom & hair in the shower) & there were many ants, alive & dead, which is to be expected as this home is in the countryside. The couch has muddy paw prints on it & was filled with dead ants behind the couch. While the photos showed that laundry starter packs were available, there were no laundry pods or detergent left for us. The country market photos looked cute & useful but when we tried to access it, it seemed it was being used for storage and there were only a few snacks left. Not to mention that there were no prices & the iPad was logged out so we could not pay. The pavilion was great, but also party used as a storage facility. Was a nice house with great amenities, just wish it was cleaner.”
