“Took my parents for a little relaxing getaway. It is such a great location. The house has a lot of nice details, very well designed. I agree with other reviews about taking water shoes to the river, a lot of rocks and can get slippery. Saw different types of birds, deer, even spotted a roadrunner. You can hear the wildlife at night. Overall 10/10”

“This place is uniquely gorgeous with accents of antique doors and windows as well as beautiful artwork throughout. The home format was conducive to our purposes - family time playing board games, watching movies, fishing, and floating on the river. The outdoor shower was especially helpful for washing off river sand and the steps to the river bank were free of foliage. The kitchen had everything necessary for a few meals; the beds were extremely comfortable (probably the best we have ever had); and the shower amenities were luxurious. Although hot in the August Texas summer, the surroundings were beautiful - full of birds and wildlife. We loved our end-of-summer family getaway with our two teenage sons. It was better than we had imagined.”
