“Is exactly what you need to go out and spend a day or weekend at the river!”

“It is a wonderful place to spend a few days with friends and families. Beautiful view of the Canyon Lake from the porch with relaxing atmosphere. This house has its own staircase to get down to the lake, but we couldn't access the lake because of the debris from the recent flood. House has plenty of space to relax. Cons - there is no locked door between master bedroom & bathroom. The AC was taking long time to cool the up stair bedrooms.”

“Lovely location on the river. We enjoyed our mornings sitting on the patio watching the river and the wildlife. The house itself wasn’t to our taste, though the description of the amenities and features was technically accurate. The biggest issue is that air conditioning is provided by window units. The unit in the main bedroom was so loud that it was very difficult to sleep. I would have also liked the house to be a bit cleaner. There were spiders and webs everywhere, among a few other concerns that I’ll address privately with the company as they are easily remedied. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dining implements though there weren’t any cooking staples like spices, oil, etc, so don’t forget to bring your own.”

“We had a very nice time and it was great to be right on the water, but in a quiet area so we could really enjoy it. The house was very clean, and while smaller inside than we expected, it had plenty of outdoor space for all of us. It was also very clean. The bathtub is wonderful for adults (can’t remember if it says in the listing but this one only had a handheld shower wand, so there’s functionally only one shower and one bathtub in the home). Be aware you are renting from a company, not an individual…so there’s charges for things like arriving early (the locks are timed so you can’t get in even a second before checkin time) and bare minimum of amenities (ex. had to buy paper towels and dish towels cause there was only two for a house that sleeps 6+).”
