There were a couple lights in the house that wouldn’t turn on, as well as the guest bathroom not having hot water. Besides those few things the stay was great!

We stayed here just to get some shut eye after a wedding. If you are arriving at night it is a little tricky to get to, and hard to see. But if you follow the instructions they send you should be fine. Cabin was a little toasty inside but we only needed to sleep and leave in the AM. Pretty scenery!

Overall this stay was absolutely fantastic. Our yearly tubing trip was outstanding and the house offered nearly everything that was listed. A few things to note - we messaged ahead of time to inquire specifically about the plumbing issues and shuffleboard that was mentioned in several reviews prior to our stay. We were told that the plumbing issues had been resolved and the shuffleboard restocked. We then received a message the day before check in advising us that there was no toilet in the master bathroom but there were still 3 other functioning ones. When we arrived the door code didn’t work but I was able to call support right away and it only took appx 15 min to get a working code. The shuffleboard was also not stocked with sand so we couldn’t use it. The poker table cup holders were very dirty so it would definitely be nice for those to be cleaned. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely be back.

Host tried to charge a $50 nonrefundable “damage fee” in order to receive door code before we even got there. Would have had to pay it if I didn’t file with Airbnb. AC was locked to stay at 79 degrees the whole time. Made for a very hot, uncomfortable stay. Couple towels were still dirty. Also realized they provided a basket of used water bottles from previous guests they had refilled with tap water. Likely hadn’t been cleaned considering this gross behavior. Good location and quaint place, but clearly they are trying to nickel and dime you left and right. Not worth what I paid. 2 stars.

After booking, StayTexas we had pre check in instructions which took us to a third party website which required a non refundable deposit that was not stated in the listing. Thankfully it was waved after communicating that it was not listed in the stay. We had to wait about 45 minutes of sitting, late at night (we drove 4 hours it was around 10:45 that we arrived) to get check in instructions. I had messaged the host about 15 minutes prior to arrival that we needed th egate access code & the house access code. No response. I had to GUESS the gate code and fortunately got it. After waiting about 20 minutes for a response, my fiancé had to call twice to get some sort of response to get into the Airbnb. We didn’t get inside until about 11:30pm. I didn’t get a message response from them until after I had already got inside. The interior was fine, the guests and I struggled with the beds being uncomfortable. Overall the property itself was nice.
