“We come to the Guadalupe every summer and loved the location of this home. Beautiful area of the river. It was so nice being able to walk right out the back door to the water. The kids also loved having the pool to enjoy in the evenings. We would love to stay here again!”

“Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we really enjoyed our trip. The house was beautiful, the neighborhood felt safe, and we had a great time at the river. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the listing photos were a bit misleading. We chose this house because we thought the backyard had a straight shot down to access to the river. In reality, there’s about a 10–15 foot drop, and you have to go down a flight of stairs to reach the water. The stairs are technically visible in the photos, but they’re easy to miss. The landscaping leading to the river could also use some maintenance. The property also charges a $100 trash fee but only provided two trash bags for our three-day stay with 10 guests. A few extra bags would have been appreciated. Other than those issues, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the property.”

“We had a great stay at this property. We had stayed in another unit on the same property a while back and were very satisfied. The property was private and right on the river. We e joked relaxing on the river, in the poll and enjoyed cooking dinner on the patio. Location was close to all the good spots on river road and not too far from Gruene. This property was very well maintained and clean. It was perfect for our party of 7. The bunk beds are probably a little too small for older teenagers but decent overall for what we needed. We would definitely stay again.”

“The description says the house was recently renovated. That may be true of some of the structure but the furnishings need to be updated. Couches need to be cleaned, rugs were worn and dirty, outside furniture was so dirty and stained, I had to put a towel down before sitting on the cushions. Kitchen could use some better accommodations. It was hard to cook for 8 people with the pots and pans provided. The drip pans on the stove were so burnt when I turned them on the smell was horrible and I thought they might catch on fire. The location was perfect but the house could be SO MUCH more.”
