“Lee was very friendly and considerate. I had a couple of experiences that impacted the enjoyment of my stay, though Lee was receptive to my feedback. The kitchen sink, specifically the faucet, was not very clean and the bedding was polyester so I did not get much sleep during my stay. Otherwise, the property was nice, in a great location, and the host was friendly.”

“Overpriced for what you get at nearly $300 per night. I’ve stayed in nicer spots in the same area for less, but maybe there was some sort of event going on that weekend? The property was kind of just maintained to the bare minimum standard. It seemed like they were relying on guests to report issues. Throughout our two-day stay, there was no hot water. There was a clear message on the hot water heater that read “Ignition error.” We reported the issue on our first night, but the owner was not able to get someone out to look at it before we left. Other than that, the place was fine, but it was just kinda dingy and not really typical of a “Superhost.” The bath mats were dingy, the door was rotting so the lock was finicky, there was a musty smell coming into the home that went away after a day, and the coffee table was missing for some reason. I don’t know if it’s a company or what, but it seems like the host may be overextended having 90 properties.”

“Very nice house and Lee was very responsive to all the issues we had but it really hurt us. The first day we had to stay downstairs all day because the air conditioning was out and it was over 90 degrees and the 2nd day there was a bad plumbing issue where smelly water was coming up from the shower and got all over the floor and we had to wait til after 2pm to shower so we missed reservations and lost half a day. Lee did work on both issues and got them resolved it was just a bummer they happened and we paid that much.”

“Lee’s home in Austin worked out perfectly for our Austin stay in May. The home was spacious and comfortable for our 8 family members. The pool was just the right size for our grandsons to enjoy while adults relaxed on the covered outdoor patio area. The front street was quiet as were the grounds of the iconic Mattie’s. Lee responded quickly to any questions or needs we had.”
