“This was a very disappointing experience. We booked and paid for this property in good faith for my job that would last 6 weeks. When we got there and saw was not as in photos or described, unsafe doors that could easily be opened, overall sense of run down and poorly maintained, washing machine had water in it. The worst thing about this was that after we saw how disturbing this place was, we advised host are not staying and requested a refund. We did not expect to get full refund, however host would not give even partial, got to keep all the 6 weeks pay and then put it right back on Airbnb to get double pay if another victim books it. We have an Airbnb and always try to work with our guests, and were very upset and disappointed with this outcome, especially since we just booked the property couple days before getting there and then immediately advised host would not stay , and host had no cleaning expense from us other than to fix the broken washing machine.”

“The house has good privacy and a fun pool. The size is perfect for a big group, and the kitchen made it easy for us to prepare meals. Some of the amenities weren’t working. The appliances and some areas of the house could use some work and weren’t the cleanest.”

“What a special place! The huge outdoor space made this one of our best trips to Austin yet! The location was excellent for enjoying Lake Travis, with convenient access to the marina, restaurants, and local attractions. Opt to add the man cave to your rental- it’s is indescribable! Each night we spent hours playing pool, ping pong, cards, games, etc in the colorful and exciting space. Our best day was spent grilling and floating off the pier while our boys played volleyball and other yard games. The house is clean and spacious. One of the sofas in the living room and cookware in the kitchen need to be updated but if you are spending time in the living room and kitchen / you are using this unique rental wrong. Stay here for a one of a kind experience with endless possibilities!”
