Buckhead Cabin Rentals in Townsend, Tennessee

“We arrived fairly late in the evening, and unfortunately our initial experience with the home wasn’t quite what we expected. The house was very dark when we arrived with no lights left on, and once we started getting settled, we noticed what appeared to be rodent droppings on the beds, floors, and around the corners of the rooms. We also noticed mold along the bottom of the shower curtain, as well as some marks/stains on one of the beds that could use additional cleaning. I do want to mention that the host was very kind, responsive, and apologetic about the situation. She immediately offered to relocate us, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, because it was already so late and we were traveling with our one-year-old, packing everything back up and relocating at that hour would have been very difficult, so we decided to stay for the night. We definitely didn’t get much sleep because we felt a little uneasy, but I truly appreciated how willing the host was to help.”

“This rental is not for motorcyclist. we saw the paved drive In the picture, but that's not the ending, you then have to go up around a tight corner of gravel. house is very musty smelling, mice droppings in the drawers along with saw dust. for this reason we did not cook or use anything there. beds were ok... bigger bedroom bed sinks in the middle. uncomfortable pillows. all in all it was a place to sleep and shower for us and made sure we were gone all day. commutation with the host was easy and they were super friendly. there is a dog, maybe neighbors that is super friendly, we called about it and we weren't the first but just in case someone else comes and encounters the dog. she's a sweetheart!”

“Cute, rustic cabin in a great secluded spot. Loved sitting on the porch while it rained, so peaceful and serene. A perfect little getaway to relax and unplug.”
