“The night before e were departing fromthe cabin, my husband noticed the filters inside the air conditioning system were CAKED full of black mold. He is a maintenance supervisor, so he notices that kind of stuff. He chose not to tell me because he knew I would freak out and he didn't want both of us to be worrying. However, I wish he had said something so I could take a picture to complain to the host and Airbnb. He let me know on our way home and I was upset we were breathing that in for five days. Although we had an excellent vacation, we will never stay at Bear Tootin again just because of this toxic and unsafe fact. From now on, we will be checking these things anytime we stay somewhere. Whoever is in charge of keeping the air system clean is not doing their job. If you choose to stay here, make sure your filters are cleaned out!”

“My wife and I stayed in the Light n’ Bug Bungalow while in town celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we were after! It was private, comfortable and spacious. We had an amazing time and big porch and hot tub were exactly what we needed after long days. We will definitely be booking again for future getaways!”
