Bear Camp Cabin Rentals in Sevier County, Tennessee

“All good. Only thing worth noting is that the internet is very slow. Too slow to stream movies. If you want to watch any movies aside from what’s on cable plan to bring some blu rays with you.”

“Bear camp rentals were fine but the owner did not respond timely and we had no wifi, no way to watch the 5 TV’s and the theater room. Night before we checked out they increased the data. The hot tub was very dirty and the water smells like rotten eggs in every bathroom and faucet.”

“The cabin/surroundings overall were ideal! Picturesque, remote, plenty to do for a wide age range. However, I saved up quite a bit of my hard-earned money for the rental, and I was expecting to be able to get what we paid for at least. One reason I booked the rental was the movie theater. My whole family loves to watch movies, and that’s where my dad planned to spend most of his time. We walked in and there was a tech INSIDE of the cabin, who told us he’d just searched and couldn’t find the remote for the theater (nor did operating it manually work). We asked for status updates on a universal remote repeatedly, but never got to use the theater. The tv in my brother’s room NEVER worked, try as maintenance did. Most of the tvs upstairs worked intermittently even after an hour of me sitting with maintenance to try to fix them. Dirty dishes in the cupboards that seemed dirtier the more we pulled out. But the hosts did proactively check on us the first morning after we checked in.”

“While our stay at the Airbnb had such an amazing view the inside didn’t meet our expectations. For how much we paid we are deeply disappointed with how unclean the Airbnb was! First off there was leftover food in the freezer. Second the clean dishes in the cabinet were not clean at all. The very first dish we grabbed had icing and crumbs on it. While the rest of the dishes had grind on them. So they were not clean properly. We didn’t feel comfortable using some of the dishes so we had to go grab some paper plates and cups!! Such an inconvenience. Third most of the bathrooms were dirty. Whether that was hair in the sink/drain so it wouldn’t drain properly. Cleaning products stains in the bathroom shower as if they did not scrub it but just left it there! Fourth they was a dead cockroach on one of the bunk-beds. And finally the hot tub was dirty! When we tried to go in it there was dirt at the bottom. Therefore we didn’t feel comfortable going inside. Will not be coming back.”

“We originally booked a different cabin with Bear Camp Cabin Rentals, however we were told that specific cabin had an unexpected issue, they sent in the same message they had a different cabin available with more amenities so everything was taken care of very efficiently and professionally. The house was amazing, and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The only issue we had was the outside fire pit was out of propane and we would’ve had to drive 20 mins to replace the tanks at Bear Camps office. I recommend them and hope to go back!”
