“The home itself is very nice, was clean when we arrived etc, the dock is extremely nice as well, the grounds could be better kept, and the steps leading to the dock are a little sketchy in some places(uneven and spaced very strange in some places) but otherwise it is nice! Cannot beat it for the $ with a dock and lake access.”

“I have never written a poor review, but felt compelled to do so due to the issues we had. It all started when we arrived at check in time. The cleaners had just started and did not complete the cleaning process until almost 2 hours after our scheduled check in time. This was never communicated to us. We were unable to unpack, relax or begin to enjoy our vacation and were forced to wait with 4 young children. Once we began to unpack, we noticed the AC in the upstairs bedrooms were not working and the temps for 80 degrees + in both of those rooms. Additionally there was black mold all over the ceiling outside both of the rooms. We therefore were not able to use 2 of the 4 bedrooms for the entire trip and were forced to have the kids sleep on couches while the adults took the two usable bedrooms. There was also significant mold in the kitchen countertop ice maker, as well as uncovered outlets in the bedrooms. We we would never recommend renting from here.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to be a great size for our family. The location was excellent, and the large bedrooms and spacious layout made it very comfortable for a larger group. Unfortunately, there were several maintenance and cleanliness issues that impacted our experience. We notified the host that the microwave was not working. They responded that someone would come take a look, but no one ever arrived, and we did not receive any further communication. There was also a strong sewage odor outside the cabin throughout our stay. The kitchen was only stocked with a travel-size bottle of dish soap, which was not enough for a large family staying several days. About half of the lights in the living room were not working. The cabin could also benefit from more thorough cleaning. We found empty water bottles under one of the beds from a previous guest, flies and bugs collected on the window sills, and some dishes still had food residue on them when we went to use them”

“The main disappointment I can relay, is 85% of my commutations were with AI . Sometimes AI can’t handle the task, and only creates frustration with the animated replies to pacify the situation . Once I was able to communicate with an individual it made my experience more pleasant although not to my satisfaction. I recommend when booking any stay , make sure all appliances are working , blinds are up and functioning and the air conditioner can accommodate the square footage of home/condo.”

“Large supply of Linens, toilet paper, paper towels and lake towels were greatly appreciated. The house is well cared for and very clean upon our arrival. We arrived at 4:30 for a 4pm check in, but the cleaning crew was there till 6:15. Reached out to property manager but received no response! The kitchen trash can is not adequate for large groups and the bin for trash fills up fast with a large group. Master bedroom is in the basement along with the bunk/living room. Laundry area in master bath. The stairs going down to the lake are wonky. They are not spaced consistently. If you are not sure footed or have problems with normal stair rise and run- this isn't your place. These need attention and need redone. Location is fantastic and dock has all you need to include covered slip and 2 kayaks. Grounds going down to the lake could use some love- personal opinion.”
