The location is excellent — right between Old City and Downtown, within walking distance of everything. The only downside is occasional train noise, though it's not unbearable. One of the bigger challenges is the lack of curtains throughout the place. There's no privacy from neighbors' windows, and the master bedroom has two uncovered skylights, which let in a lot of light in the morning — not ideal if you want to sleep past 6:30 AM. Lastly, the check-in process could be much smoother. The parking instructions are confusing and lead you through a sketchy alley entrance. It would help a lot if hosts upfront provided the front address and told guests to look for the metal gate, walk to the last door, and use the call box there. Separately, clear parking options (for those driving) and instructions for using the back entrance to the condo would go a long way. If you are not driving, you will never need to use the back entrance.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb while visiting Knoxville for a friend’s wedding. The space was beautifully decorated and conveniently located, making it easy to enjoy everything downtown Knoxville has to offer. One thing worth noting is that this property is managed by a team rather than an individual host. In my experience, it lacked some of the personal, thoughtful touches that make certain Airbnbs feel especially welcoming and cozy. I’ve shared my specific feedback directly with the hosts. None of the issues were deal breakers, but they did make the stay feel a little less warm and homey than we had hoped.

This was a really nice apartment with a cool view and location, with lots to do downtown within walking distance. I have not often stayed in an Airbnb that I actually thought looked nicer in person than in the picture, but this was one. We had a great time. The biggest downside, and it isn’t insignificant, is that there is not a dedicated parking space. There are a lot of lots nearby, so we didn’t have a hard time finding a space. But our stay included a holiday where we knew the lots were going to be full downtown so it was a source of some stress. We hadn’t realized there wasn’t dedicated parking when we booked it. But overall I would stay again. I liked it a lot.
