“We enjoyed our stay. We did have trouble with ants in the kitchen and getting trash picked up since there are no bear proof trash to remove trash from the house. The game room was very fun for the kids and having access to the pool was very nice.”

“PLEASE.... and I mean PLEASE do not select to stay at this property. They demand that you provide an additional credit card for incidentals outside of AirBnb. After this, it is then their life mission to charge that credit card. I booked this property and the one next door to it through Airbnb. The one next door is pet friendly. We had a 10 lb hyperallogenic toy poddle staying in the unit next door. My dad accidentally walked the dog into this specific unit to let everyone know dinner was ready on two different nights. The dog was in there for a few minutes each time, and one time he was even carrying the dog. These folks IMMEDIATELY charged my credit card $450 upon realizing. They gave me $250 back after the "checked the unit". I completely understand charging someone if an unauthorized dog was in the unit the entire stay, but this was not remotely the case. To the property owner : you could have elected to waive this charge and did not. I hope you spend the $200 wisely.”

“My family had a great stay at The Hillbilly Hideaway! Cabin was exactly like the pictures and we lucked out and saw lots of bears right from the balconies and even while sitting in the hottub at night (highlight of our trip). The drives into gatlinburg and pigeon forge are beautiful and not far at all. I wish the pool would have been walking distance from our cabin but with kids in tow and cabin being at top of a hill we had to drive down to the pool. The grounds were very well kept. My only complaint is the cabin walls, carpet, windows and comforters were a little dirty/crusty. Maybe thats to be expected in a cabin meant for families/kids. Just felt the place needed a good deep clean. Coming with lots of kids in tow it wasnt very high on my concerns and we quickly overlooked it. I would certainly come back!!”
