“The house is large and has plenty of space indoors, but there were several disappointments. There is no dedicated parking, making unloading and parking inconvenient. The property is not lakefront, and while there is a marked path to the dock, accessing the water requires going down a steep set of stairs, crossing the street, and then walking down a very steep driveway. Even driving down the driveway felt questionable due to the grade. I would not recommend this property for families, especially with small kids, expecting easy lake access. There is also no usable yard. The small side yard has only a little flat ground, while the larger backyard is on a steep incline. If you’re looking for a spacious house, it may work for your group, but if you’re expecting an easy lake getaway with accessible water and outdoor space, this likely isn’t the right fit. The listing should be clearer about the parking, terrain, and lake access.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Great dock, plenty of room for our family. The deck was our favorite part!! Great views and peaceful!”

“Its listed handicap accessible which it no longer is. There were problems with raccoons living in the sofet and tearing up the trash everyday. Had issues with the fridge and A/C which were fixed the next day. The dock was not easily accessible. Water levels were down so we did not get a chance to try out the slide. They have very limited toliet paper and paper towels. No cleaning products were left to wipe down counters ect. Not enough towels for the amount of people its supposed to be able to host.”

“The view is unbeatable, the porch serene. The lake is close by and we had so much fun playing in it. We were disappointed in the amenities for the price. The furniture is a bit old and saggy. The kitchen was not stocked with things I would expect: salt and pepper, a cookie sheet, and other things that would be unreasonable for a guest to provide for themselves for a short stay. The power went out during our stay as well as a whole house fan that came on and was super loud and the communication with the management company I believe was with an AI bot which proved to be most unhelpful. We ended up figuring out a lot of things on our own or making do. For the price we paid that was not great nor what we hoped for.”

“Do not book this place for the dock and slide! We did not expect the water to be too low at the end of June! Not sure when you could ever use the slide?The house itself was nice, an A+ for having enough seating for a house that sleeps so many. The listing states that shampoo conditioner soap etc would be provided, and most airbnbs have pumps installed in the showers but this place gives one set of tiny hotel size.. so 7 people had 2 sets to share, and no hand soap. There was also no salt pepper oil etc like listed and the pans were not in good condition. The deck, ample chairs, the swing and corn hole were all amazing but the weeds/brush need cut way back, it ruins the lake views which is kind of the whole point. Having no fire pit is annoying. I suggest getting better ply TP and paper towels! Have to use double of the cheap stuff. Tons of games provided in the closet which is very nice amenity. Also hate being pressured to leave a 5 star review by the hosts”
