“Awful is an understatement. I had planned a weekend getaway for my wifes birthday on Saturday. We arrived to Gatlinburg around 1pm. At 4pm we are informed by the host that they no longer own the property!! I paid 500$ for a night here to find out that the place had been sold to residential. Air bnb refunded the money and offered us a camper to stay in along with a 50$ credit that barely covers half of the gas on the way there. After a 5 hour commute one way we had to turn around and commute another 5 hours back home! Someone somewhere has got to fix these types of communication errors”

“My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed here at the Love Shack. It was a great experience being able to fully relax and wind down with nature all around us. The creek located just behind the cabin was very beautiful and soothing! You can’t really hear the sounds inside, but you can as soon as you step onto the porch. We also really appreciated the partnership with attractions, which helped our wallets! This location is great with being just 25-ish minutes from Gatlinburg and 40 minutes to Pigeon Forge! While there aren’t a whole lot of tourist attractions close to the cabin, we weren’t far at all from really amazing experiences. Also the king size bed was my favorite, most comfortable bed I’ve slept in! Overall, I would recommend this stay to others completely!”

“Con: Outdated log cabin needing a refresh. Bring your own additional blankets because the one provided is torn and moldy. Floors were dirty, dishes were dirty, curtains need to be washed, you can see the thick dust. You can hear the traffic from main road. Pros: Great location away, close to Gatlinburg. Nice hot tub on porch. Suggest Janice’s and Trish’s for breakfast.”
