“The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable, and the mountain views were absolutely breathtaking. The location was peaceful, and overall the property was beautiful. However, my experience was overshadowed by a security concern. I found an item in the cabin that I knew was not mine, which made me worry that someone may have entered while I was away. I contacted the host immediately. They were polite and responded that they had never had a break-in and offered to change the door lock code the next day. Unfortunately, the code was never changed during my stay. Because of that, I did not feel comfortable sleeping there after the first night. As a woman traveling alone with my young child, feeling safe is extremely important. While I appreciate that the host responded and tried to reassure me, I was disappointed that the promised lock code change was not completed. If the security issue had been resolved as promised, my review would have been much higher. The cabin itself is beautiful.”
