“I booked a 2.5-week stay and communicated with David for weeks beforehand. He was responsive and friendly, but that changed when a serious problem arose. After the first night, the toilet stopped working completely, and the shower and sinks had almost no water pressure. I notified David before 8am. Instead of treating this as urgent, he replied, “I am so sorry to hear that! Please keep me posted.” The toilet literally would not flush. I repeatedly explained that this needed to be fixed that day. David said he would have maintenance come “as soon as possible.” I worked all day and returned to find that nothing had been fixed. David had not provided any update or even told me whether maintenance had shown up. I contacted the emergency number and was assured someone would handle it, but they stopped responding too. Airbnb contacted David multiple times and told me he had read their messages but did not respond. I ended up getting a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. David cannot be trusted.”

“With much Airbnb experience, this is FAIR feedback. PRO: Clean. Very comfortable bed. Blackout shades. Spacious bath. Nice layout. Great AC, TV & kitchen appliances. Nice country great for evening walks. Private, except... CON: Description says gated but gate was never closed. Hope UC Church 'Extension' is operating here. In staying 12 days, had 2 large Sun 10am services (100 cars?) and one Thurs afternoon gathering. Wasn't really a problem BUT SUCH EXPECTATIONS SHOULD BE IN THE DESCRIPTION (NOT REVIEWS). In staying 12 days, cooked alot. Oddly, there was no toaster nor can opener. I msgd David to ask if such were in one of the 6 locked kitchen cabinets. He checked with the owner confirming 'not there.' He asked if he should order them, and I said that was not for me to decide. How hard would an Amazon order take to solve the issue? Less than it took to do this review? Lastly, there is a 5G tower across street which was emitting high UF readings per my TriField meter on site”

“Beautifully decorated, each room was so spacious. Great air conditioning with zone controls to keep us all comfortable. Private area with peaceful back porch. We saw everything from Turkey to deer each morning. Highly recommended.”
