“Very cozy home. There were a couple things around the house the host could have fixed up before we got there like the door handles. A few different rooms the handle would come off while trying to close. But that was about minor problem. Otherwise great stay!”

“We stayed here with a couple other families for a weekend getaway. Had a fantastic time! The calendar on the fridge was updated with local events, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the kids had a blast with the games, toys, and blankets for their blanket fort! Host was very clear and responded quickly to any messages. Overall we were pleased with our stay, but would critique the cabin's cleanliness when it came to some of the deeper cleaning projects. We inspected the hottub before use and it appeared clean, but after we got in, noticed there were several floaties we had to scoop out. The coffee pot was left with a moldy filter, and the grill had not been cleaned since its last use. None of these things ruined our stay, and the rest of the cabin was very clean, but hopefully some of those less obvious areas will be checked a little more thoroughly in the future.”

“Overall a nice place that was big enough for our family of 10 adults and 7 children. One of the rooms had an air mattress instead of the bed, that was in the listing. The house could have been cleaner, and the garage loft did not appear to have been cleaned at all. Numerous maintenance items are listed in earlier reviews that have not been addressed. A few NEED to be addressed (no hot water in garage, stove burner, cleanliness). I reached out to the owner after our stay to bring the items to his attention and he replied, "It is very difficult during the busy season to handle these issues..." Some of the issues are longstanding and a couple are safety issues. Before booking, I would verify he has addressed at least the garage boiler, and the stove. Once again, a nice place that could be great with a little maintenance and more cleaning.”
