“What an amazing place this was! The home was well appointed, clean and very comfy. Without question the star of the show was the property itself with its beautiful landscape and amazing views. Wow! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more and will definitely be visiting the property again in the future.”

“Beautiful, so comfortable, and adventurous. The whole family enjoyed the arcade game, movie theater style tv room, hot tub, mountain top views, fire table for s’mores and ample sleeping space. It did not disappoint!! Print our written directions from website before traveling to the home. Google Maps sends you on a wild goose chase. Driveway requires a strong vehicle and adventurous confidence to ascend!”

“This home is very private and quiet. We watched Mr Rushmore light up each night from the deck. The drive to Custer, Hill City, and Keystone is very doable for day activities. We spent each night staying and enjoying the cabin and relaxing. The grounds are fun to explore—we saw deer, vultures, and birds. As a family of 4 with two younger teenagers, we had a great trip, with each of us having our own space a room to spread out when needed!”

“Privacy, beautiful surroundings, accessible to all things Black Hills & a view of Mt Rushmore! House definitely had that great authentic Lodge feel. Thoughtful furniture and decor. Top of the line appliances & everything new. Location could not be beat. Driveway is long, at times a bit cumbersome, but worth it. Viewing Mt Rushmore from the hot tub in the evenings was spectacular! Easy communication with the host, directions very clear. Only thing keeping from a 5 star review was that when we got to the house there was definitely a smell of plastic. Turns out they had just installed beautiful new windows but the install was not complete. We opened all other windows to air out the house. There was still film all over the new windows as well as stickers which somewhat instructed the beautiful views. The trim was not done and the automatic shades covering the top were not there. It was also quite dusty and the floor needed mopping (likely from install). Otherwise a FANTASTIC stay!!”
