“While the home itself was nice, our overall experience was disappointing. The listing does not adequately describe the amount of rough gravel road travel required to reach the property, and the walk to the lake as at least 20 min. Most concerning was an ant infestation in the bedroom and bathroom that persisted for several days and ultimately forced my husband and I to sleep on the recliner couch for multiple nights. Communication from management was poor throughout the process. We received delayed responses, conflicting information about when pest control had been scheduled, and no notice that treatment would occur at 7:00 a.m. while our family was still asleep. We spent a significant part of our vacation dealing with these issues rather than enjoying our stay. While the pest control technician was professional and polite, the overall handling of the situation fell well short of expectations, and the compensation offered did not reflect the impact on our vacation. Ask questions!”

“The cabin by the lake was great! Great location for doing fun activities on the lake. My family of 5 (with 3 children under 8 y/o) enjoyed playing at the beach, kayaking on the lake, and fishing too. The beach is a short 2 minute drive from the cabin and private and comfortable. The cabin itself is very nice as well, on the couple of rainy days we had, the kids enjoyed the new games and toys provided at the cabin. Overall a very nice and relaxing way to spend a week.”
