“What a lovely, clean home and just as described. The area is extremely quiet and that has a great appeal for a low key getaway. The home was extremely clean, especially for a beach house. The beach while not a swimming beach because of oyster beds, is very walkable and so, so quiet for beach side reading and quiet time. The whole area is beautiful, restaurants in the area are wonderful and the history of this area is so interesting! All of that being said we would definitely book here again for an extra quiet getaway!”

“I had several issues with reservation - broken doors, ceiling fans not working, no plumbing for a few hours, no working bathtub to bathe my kids. The sliding door didn’t have a handle so it was inoperable and was advised to lock door with a piece of wood. No refund was provided by the host due to me not taking pictures for evidence. Would never recommend this host to anyone!”

“The outside of the house doesn’t match the photos at all. The inside was clean and easy to navigate. Despite the nice interior, there is absolutely zero privacy. The kitchen and upstairs bathroom were very concerning, as there is a lot of car and foot traffic. I always felt like someone could see us. If that’s not a concern for you, I’d recommend staying here! The local scene is cool, and it’s about 20-45 minutes from any major attractions like Dataw Island Club and Hunting Island State Park/Beach.”
