“Check in supposed to be no later than 4 pm but no text was received or code to enter until I texted close to 5 pm. No handle on toilet in master bathroom to flush toilet - was repaired the following afternoon Overall, the hosts were responsive though. The home is as pictured - outdated furnishings and bathrooms and not very attractive, but the home was clean, large and very comfortable. Really needs new flooring, paint and no peeling wallpaper in the bathroom! Now, the outdoor area - amazing! Huge deck with lots of seating options and the pool was fantastic (clean unlike so many others we have stayed at) and had outdoor bar area and hot tub.”

“House is full of mold in the ac runs and vents. Whole family got sick paid over 14k to stay in a house with mold. House smells like mold also. Office never showed up like they said they would and tried giving me 5% back of my 14k which was a joke. House also had broken kitchen cabinets, water damage at front door. Just very run down”

“Many things about the Picture Perfect beach house are ideal. The location is on a quiet, pristine beach; the perfect spot to celebrate a milestone birthday with 10 adults and 2 teens. The house is lovely and except for the office sofa bed, comfortable. The kitchen is a well equipped. Teens enjoyed fast WiFi, game room, smart TVs in every room. However… 1. A few days before our trip, my son discovered the address was wrong! Pix on the listing did not match the Google maps. Panic!! Property management, Luxury Beach Rentals confirmed the error, emailed correct address, but didn’t correct the listing. 2. The hot tub was dirty the and the broken pool skimmer left lots of debris in the pool. Maintenance showed up 3 days later but couldn’t fix the problem. 3. No AC in game room. 4. Rx medication left by previous guest was in the fridge! All issues were reported to Luxury Beach Rentals immediately. Their replies were apologetic, with little, if any effort to fix the problems. Disappointing.”

“Great house and great location. Perfect for our family and young adult children. 2 issues of note: we paid for heater I. The hot tub and upon arrival it was not on or even operational. Same issue with hot water on main shower head and both issues were reported within 2 hours of check in. It took 4 days to fix the shower and the hot tub worked for 3 hours our entire stay. So, great house and would stay again and for the cost of the house you expect a higher urgency to make the house functional. It’s a great house !”

“Great location, not in the center of Myrtle Beach crowds, but close enough for convenience. Easy drive to both North and South Myrtle Beach activities. House was in an upscale private neighborhood. Love the open feel and expansive ocean views. Some cosmetic issues around the property mostly attributed to beach life/salt air. Most of the beds were reviewed as very comfortable. Ample bath and beach towels were provided. Lower level suite (converted garage) did have a slight musty scent, again related to beach life. Eight adults were comfortably accommodated with plenty of interior space to stretch out and not feel crowded. I would choose this house again.”
