“We had a wonderful stay on Lake Keowee. This house was perfect for our family. We cannot wait to come back.”

“The home is beautiful, spacious, and in an amazing location on Lake Keowee with incredible views. The kitchen is well stocked, and it comfortably accommodated our large group. The biggest issue was the spiders. We’ve never seen so many webs at a rental. The host sent someone to knock them down, but they didn’t spray, so by the next day the webs had returned to the chairs, railings, and doorways. There was also a sewage smell in the backyard whenever someone showered, making the porches difficult to enjoy. The home needs maintenance. We found loose toilets, doors that wouldn’t latch, and a stair railing that failed because it wasn’t properly secured, creating a serious safety concern. Smoke detectors were also extremely sensitive. Amenities were minimal: only two kayaks, one towel per guest, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no beach towels, and no spices. Overall, a beautiful home with great views that would benefit from better maintenance and pest control.”

“We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakefront home on Lake Keowee. The house had plenty of space on both levels, giving our family room to spread out and relax comfortably. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and the home was stocked with everything we needed. The beautiful gated neighborhood was perfect for evening walks and added to the peaceful atmosphere. As other reviewers have mentioned, the home is situated on a very steep hill. We didn't mind the extra leg workout walking back up from the dock, but it's something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility concerns. The screened-in porch was one of our favorite features and a great place to relax while enjoying the lake views. The dock was excellent, though it's worth noting that, as the owner mentioned, the water gets a little shallow around the first bend. One day, the lake level dropped significantly, and the depth was around 3 feet in that area. We were still able to navigate it without any issues. 5 stars overall”
