Many issues. The most significant: 1. Extensive Fly Infestation - we reported this issue on the first day of our stay but did not receive assistance until July 28, four days later. 2. Inoperable Shower - Shower Head broken on arrival and took 3 days to replace. 3. Propane System / Loss of Hot Water - on Day 4 of our stay, a neighboring bicyclist reportedly contacted the local fire department after detecting a strong sulfur-like odor near the property. The fire department responded and informed us that the home's primary propane tank was empty and that the odor was associated with the remaining gas in the system. As a precaution, the fire department shut down the propane supply to the home. Although the propane tank was eventually refilled two days later, the system was not restored to service, and we remained without hot water through our departure on August 1.

This is a lovely home. The kitchen is perfect for cooking family meals and is well stocked. The furniture was comfortable and the bedrooms were well done. Having en suites was a tremendous bonus as well as the ice machine and water dispenser. Lots of frig space. The location was quiet and serene. We would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the downstairs AC never got quite cool enough (hovered around 76/77 and hit 80 a few days). At night, 2 bedrooms were pretty hot for sleeping. We did reach out and they sent a tech out. However, the tech didn’t solve the problem. Otherwise, the place was amazing.

Nice place, but it’s located on a private, gated club property. You can’t use any of the pools or amenities without paying $55 a day, download an app, and use the app with your credit card attached to make any purchases. We were charged for towel return issues and even got a $50 fine for having a tow behind trailer. These club rules are totally unknown until you’re experiencing them. I didn’t look closely enough into the whole situation, and it’s not necessarily anyone’s fault. But it was kind of a bummer. Seabrook Island is a cool club, but it was super expensive after paying for the Airbnb costs, hidden club fees, and the fine for the trailer. We had a great trip, and the Airbnb itself was as pictured and described. Nice spot overall. Decent rental. Just be aware of the full experience you’re signing up for.

Natural tunnel of trees covers most of the road to the island. Beach is wonderful. Plenty of space to play with kids but you don’t have to walk far to be submerged in the water. Awesome sunrise. Screened porch is very lovely. Perfect place for a mid day nap or a dinner. Dining room table is big enough for a family meal or fun time with board games (check a side table near by). Do not use the grill. I liked kitchen with island in the middle.
