“The home at 119 Sea Pines is a nice home with a view. However, we wanted a beachfront home, so we would have easy access with our children to the beach. We leased the place, according to the pictures, for the beach. The beach is covered in oysters, it’s a gigantic shoal! We had to load up every day and drive to the state park to spend time on the beach. If you are okay with not getting on the beach, this place is clean and really quiet. Not a good place for children and beach activities.”

“Very nice house, the beach was not the same sadly, lots of cuts from oysters but nothing the BNB host can help. Place was cleaned but not thoroughly.”

“We loved the house and location of this property! The sun room overlooking the property was by far our favorite part of the house. We would go back simply to enjoy the house again. However, the negative of this place was how stingy they were. We were given one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, 5 bathroom towels for 6 people, 3 trash bags, and no beach towels at all. Also, they would only allow an early check in for an additional $50. All these things made the property feel less than what we paid for it. Lastly, upon check in we were told we couldn’t turn the air down lower than 72 degrees which wasn’t the end of the world but is something to consider when you are booking for the month of July. The bedrooms definitely got warmer than we would have preferred. Overall, we loved the house but were let down by some of these smaller things that make a stay at an Airbnb more comfortable.”

“I had several issues with reservation - broken doors, ceiling fans not working, no plumbing for a few hours, no working bathtub to bathe my kids. The sliding door didn’t have a handle so it was inoperable and was advised to lock door with a piece of wood. No refund was provided by the host due to me not taking pictures for evidence. Would never recommend this host to anyone!”
