I had several issues with reservation - broken doors, ceiling fans not working, no plumbing for a few hours, no working bathtub to bathe my kids. The sliding door didn’t have a handle so it was inoperable and was advised to lock door with a piece of wood. No refund was provided by the host due to me not taking pictures for evidence. Would never recommend this host to anyone!

What a lovely, clean home and just as described. The area is extremely quiet and that has a great appeal for a low key getaway. The home was extremely clean, especially for a beach house. The beach while not a swimming beach because of oyster beds, is very walkable and so, so quiet for beach side reading and quiet time. The whole area is beautiful, restaurants in the area are wonderful and the history of this area is so interesting! All of that being said we would definitely book here again for an extra quiet getaway!

This place was very clean and had gorgeous views at certain times of the day. Beach was very private and a great place for a family with little ones.

This was a cute, clean house at the marina. Great for 4 people. BUT it was hot upstairs and you could not turn the thermostat down below 72 degrees - there was a note that the unit would freeze up. Plus the ceiling fan in the back bedroom popped all night and it was hard to sleep with the noise, but if you turned it off it got too hot to sleep. Didn’t learn about air until after we rented. That should be included in listing.

Beautiful, private, and quiet property — exactly what we were looking for. The location is stunning and the beach access is wonderful. Nearby highlights include an equestrian center with trail rides and a quick 20-minute drive to Beaufort for great food and shops.A few things to note for future guests: toiletries and supplies are minimal — previous reviews flagged this and we can confirm, we made multiple Walmart runs for basics like hand soap and extra towels. For the price point, we expected more to be provided. Parking is strictly limited to two cars and the driveway is small — oversized vehicles won’t fit. We parked extra cars at the sheriff’s office lot in Beaufort per a deputy’s suggestion (leave a note with your info). No issues over four days. One heads up: we were warned by a local neighbor about another neighbor further down the beach. We’d recommend sticking to the beach directly in front of the house or heading to Hunting Island State Park instead — both great options
