Make sure to look for parking passes when you arrive, as that is the one step the check in process didn't specify.”

“This place was very convenient for a conference at Barefoot Resort and was accurately described and affordable. The main downside was the lack of clear instructions, the complex was a bit confusing to navigate, and it took us a couple of days for the host to find the pool access and notify us, which should have been clearly explained upfront. There were also a few small maintenance and setup issues, like a handheld shower head with a broken mount (host did offer to fix this, but the shower worked fine) and lamps/lights not being plugged in, which made settling in a bit harder. There was a slight smell when first entering, but it didn’t linger into the apartment. The unit is two apartments connected by an adjoining door left open, you could tell from the layout on the listing but just to clarify. Overall, it worked well for our needs (and the marina cafe was amazing for happy hour!) but better check-in instructions and attention to small details would have improved the experience.”
