We vacationed here for 4 days 3 nights and had 3 families, party of 10, stay at the resort. The location was perfect on the beach and close to all fun activities. When we all arrived we were told only 2 parking passes were available and the 3rd vehicle would have to park at a parking meter and pay a daily fee. We paid quite a bit to stay and then traveled 6 hrs, so we felt it was wrong they couldn’t accommodate 3 passes for a group of 10. When entering the room the place looked just like the photos only with minor damage to walls, doors and kitchen appliances. The walls were really dirty and stained along with the carpet and couch cushions the carpet left stains on our feet. They only provided one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and one towel per person. We eventually were told we had to bring our dirty towels down to get new ones. Steve, at the front desk was not nice when asked for them. If you plan on cooking like we did, I’d bring your own seasonings, oils, pots and pans.

The room was clean overall and the view on the balcony was beautiful. Sand Dunes resort is a fun place with lots of amenities and things to walk around and do, our personal favorite is the beach front bar and kitchen. The biggest problem with the place is the check in process. Instructions are not clear and the staff at the front desk act completely clueless about how to get you into the room. We had to contact the Airbnb host and they were able to make a call to the resort and help us get in finally. Once you get in the room everything is great, but the experience I had with the staff here will make me think twice before booking again.

This place was disgustingly dirty. Mold under bathroom sink, mildew in shower, burn holes in couch. Floor turned my daughter’s socks black in the mater of minutes being there. AC kept flipping breaker. Triple a batteries in a double a remote. Fridge barely kept food cold. Not something I would ever book again. My family could not stop coughing and was congested the whole time to only find out at check out when I happened to look under the sink to see if anything was put down there and found mold. Mold that has been there for who knows how long. So what are the cleaners doing? Definitely not habitable

If bare minimum were a place this would be it. At check in we were only told we had access to one room, late our first night I finally got confirmation from the host that we booked both rooms in the villa. We were able to access the second space. The hotel tried to charge my card over $700 the first night and my card had to be canceled. That’s when I realized it would have been cheaper just to book with the hotel.. we paid nearly $1000 in full, weeks before arriving. There are no extras like throw blankets, beach towels, useable dishes, or anything you come to expect from Airbnb. All you get is a motel 6 set up at a Marriott price. If you’re looking for a home away from home, this is NOT it. Also, while we were there we watched a man beat his girlfriend and the police take him away and never seen any staff intervene once. Won’t be going back sadly.

Everything was great floors were extremely dirty. Had to have housekeeping come clean them the day we checked in it describes beachfront. It does not face the beach. It is a side view no issue there. Only two parking passes were given.
