“The condo was in fair condition & the beds were comfortable. However, this is a professionally managed property, not a private owner rental, & the rules were excessive with fees from $5 for a worn washcloth to $25 for a bath towel if items are missing. As a poolside condo located minutes from the beach, no pool towels are provided, & there are no extras of basic supplies. We were given only 1 trash bag, no laundry detergent, and limited starter supplies. Guests are also expected to complete a lengthy checkout list, i.e., stripping beds, washing & putting away dishes, & emptying the dishwasher. The master bedroom ceiling fan didn’t work, & the bathrooms were dirty. There was a visible ring in the master tub & pink staining in the toilet. The owner, Tim, was responsive & ultimately provided beach towels after I raised the issue, which I appreciated. Guests are also offered a discount on a future stay in exchange for leaving a 5-star review, which may be useful when evaluating reviews.”
