“The walk from the elevator to the room was actually scary. We got to the room and the door looked like it had previously been broken into. Chunks of the door missing where the lock was. The bedding was different from the pictures but was clean. The nightstand was dirty. The bathroom closet was decent size. The bathroom was clean for the most part but there was some kind of sticky stuff on the floor mixed with hair in it. The place was dark and dingy. The main living area was ok size but the tables were filthy, couch pillows were disgusting, coffee maker dirty, drawer with silverware in it was dirty. I couldnt tell if it was bug feces or coffee grounds in the drawer. The pans were scratched ALL UP and had food burned onto them. Everything else in the cabinet looked like leftover bits and pieces of what things left behind. Worst part the balcony door had no lock on it and my grandson went out there and stood on a chair. Brad offered to come fix it but we just left. We didnt feel safe.”

“Place was definitely smaller than expected, and the hotel itself wasn’t the cleanest or nicest. Not many walkable locations but close enough of a drive to most thing. But my biggest gripe was the roach we found. Immediately got up out of there. If there’s nothing else available and you’re okay with roaches I’d recommend it.”

“Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. I thought it’s a little outdated but given its location and the resort amenities, it would be a good budget pick. Boy, was I wrong! The second you open the door, the whole place stinks like an ashtray. Then in the living room, you can clearly see that the entire ceiling has a mold problem that someone tried to cover up with additional coats of paint instead of actually addressing the issue. This place is filthy from the floors, to the furniture, right up to the dishes and pots and pans within the cupboards. Pots and pans had stuck on food and rust all over them. The dishes and glasses had dry juice and food on them. The bathroom sink didn’t work at all. And the bathtub is dirty. And the worst part? The host does not care. Needless to say, I took pictures and videos and Airbnb refunded me my money. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless they want to spend the first day of their vacation trying to find a new place.”

“This is our second time staying at brads place, and we absolutely love the location, the other guests we’ve met at the pool, and the home itself. Brad did some renovations in the last year, and they were lovely! The reason for the 3 star review is the AC unit in the main living space. It is fit for a commercial AC, but someone put in a window unit, fitting the holes with HVAC tape, and while the AC was running nonstop, it never got below 75 degrees in the living room, and smaller bedroom. I messaged Brad on our first day, and never heard a word back, even though we rented his place for 12 total days. It was 100+ degrees with the heat index, and the only space that was cool was the master bedroom. I’m very disappointed in the lack of communication by Brad, and the carelessness of the wrong AC unit being installed. If it’s not different next summer, unfortunately, we will have to find a condo better suited to handle the summer heat.”

“This was by far the worst experience I’ve had here. The air conditioning barely worked leaving the room unbearably hot. We woke up drenched in sweat and the only solution offered by the host was a small fan. The property itself was in terrible condition with mold on the ceilings, chipped paint all over the walls, and sand literally everywhere even in the bed linens which made it feel like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before our arrival. To make matters worse, half of the power in the unit stopped working leaving us without electricity in parts of the rental for several hours before the issue was finally resolved. After everything we dealt with I reached out to the host requesting a full refund and never even received the courtesy of a response. As someone who has stayed here many times before, I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of upkeep and communication. This experience was completely unacceptable & the way our concerns were handled or rather ignored, was even worse.”
