“The place was nice, in a quiet area. It matched the description and the pictures. The upstairs main bed was creaking every time I moved. The sofa downstairs was very uncomfortable, you could literally feel the springs and there were so many gnats coming out of the kitchen sink.”

“The positives: 1. Great porch/screened porch from the master that sits over a canal w/ a running fountain, under an old oak. (Best property feature!) 2. Just a few min. drive to Isle of Palms and many conveniences, ent., dining. The negatives: 1. Feels like a dated, corporate sales office. The space is not thoughtfully designed/appointed - very heavy stone & wood, chopped up, tight, no good common space, and just…too masculine. The downstairs living/dining area is so small is almost pointless; needs more thoughtful furniture to maximize use. All focus has been put on an outdoor kitchen, but Chas. bugs & heat don’t make that enjoyable. 2. We had 3 forks, no complete dish sets, no “extra” towels/blankets/comforts - bare minimums only. 3. Dryer was broken the whole time we were there. Actually, had to buy more clothes to accommodate. 4. Cheap, ill-fitting sheets & uncomfortable beds. 5. Stayed hot upstairs. 6. Floors turned our feet black in 30 min. 7. Tight parking for large SUV.”
