“We had a bit of an interesting stay here. The unit is cute & looks like the images! It’s in a great area, easy to walk to, & the designated parking spot is amazing! Check-in & out is very simple. The unit is clearly used & had a fair share of signs of that. Lots of scuffs/damage on walls, dust in unused areas, etc. Most issues anticipated with a STR. We had one big issue during our stay, that I have now been educated with airbnb on how to handle. MOLD! We were with our 2 small children & on night one when we went to lay in bed I realized there was a significant amount of mold on the mini splits. I took pictures & reached out to the host immediately expressing my concern. They responded quickly (even though it was late) & passed it onto their team which I appreciated! Almost two days went by with no follow up or resolution. I then messaged again & they sent 2 maintenance men with a bottle of bathroom bleach & a toilet brush to clean them. While they did help, the mold was still there”

“Cute place in walking distance to restaurants and night life. The place could use some maintenance. Tiles on the shower floor coming up, dingy rugs and couch. But the biggest issue is the parking. Tricky parking behind the house, and once we got in, we couldn’t get out with neighbors moving vehicles that were legally parked on the street. It’s just too tight to make the corner unless you’re in a mini cooper.”

“The location is good for walking to King St, but the neighborhood is very busy and congested. The unit needs some TLC. We had issues with broken TV, dangerous hand railing to get into unit, water pressure in master en suite is non-existent and tub in hall bath is very slippery. Master bedroom has street noise all night long. It was well stocked and plenty of room for our group, but they could have fixed loose hanging towel racks or unplugged broken TV's and tape on door jams that clearly had a banner of some sort ripped down previously. Not a lot of attention to the space. And the stairs to get up to the unit are no joke.”

“The space is lovely, just as pictured. It was an easy walk to great restaurants, the waterfront and French quarter. Our only glitch was the promised parking space in a next door lot was no longer available. A substitute was provided and the owner promptly reimbursed us for the cost.”

“Place was as described, bed was comfortable and it was nice to have the space. We travel with a noise machine, which was a life saver. The hospital is a block away and the helicopters coming in and out sounded like they were landing on top of us. We could also hear people outside and upstairs very easily. Not a deal breaker, just an fyi.”
