“Enjoyed the stay and view of lake”

“The home is situated on a perfect location for enjoying a wonderful view of the beautiful lake. Let me say, we did enjoy our stay. However, our first impressions upon our arrival were disappointing. The entry area was not inviting. The doormat (a/k/a a welcoming mat) was pretty sad & weathered. A good sweeping & a bit of yard maintenance could have given this area a more inviting appeal. Upon entering, your eye goes directly to the large stains on the carpet. This is also one of the bedrooms. The other entry door into the kitchen had an even sadder doormat surrounded by lots of outdoor debris. We were disappointed with the condition of the outdoor furniture having tattered & torn cushions. There was an old metal bucket at the end of the stairs filled with old cigarette butts. And, the poor grill had seen its better days. With some attention to details, it would make the place feel more inviting & cared for and worthy of the cost.”

“The house is very quiet as well as the neighborhood. You can’t hear outside noice. We relaxed watching our favorite shows. We felt safe and comfortable.”

“Probably one of the best Airbnb‘s we’ve ever stayed in we loved it. We loved being on the water. Everything was great. Mattresses were comfortable shower. Pressure was good beautiful views of the water and a fantastic dock. We will definitely rent again.”

“The property did not match the profile at all. The outdoor amenities were the main reason I booked this particular property. According to the listing, the dock was beautiful with nice chairs, there was a playground area for children, it came with a charcoal grill, picnic table and outdoor seating. Everything needed to make a stay at the lake wonderful and relaxing. What we got was a severely warped deck that was separating from the pier; mildewed outdoor furniture; and a rusted beyond usable charcoal grill. The playground ship and picnic table had been patched up with new boards to make them usable. As soon as I saw the dock, I contacted the owner (also sent photos) about the condition. She said she was not aware that anything was wrong with the dock and “assured” me it was safe for use.”
