“I have been renting vacation homes for many years. Kiawah Island is beautiful but steer clear of any of the Akers Ellis properties. Terrible experience with representatives and house was worse than filthy. Reported to Airbnb because this rental should not reflect Airbnb standards I’ve grown used to.”

“The house was nice but could use some updates. The primary bedroom had a bed that was so high an average person would have to jump onto it to get in! Overall our stay was good, we enjoyed the house. There was some mess that may have been missed from the cleaners- old coffee in the machine, some trash on the deck and there were roaches too. The stairs leading to the house could use more lighting and is definitely a trip hazard for anyone with mobility issues.. but overall the house was cozy, and not too far from the beach! We had a good time, and enjoyed our stay!”
