The location was the best! This home is right on the water, with a private beach and dock. We brought floaties and fishing poles and had a wonderful time. I wish we had brought water shoes as the shore is filled with shells that hurt your feet. The home itself was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed gathering in the living spaces and getting cozy to watch movies in the evening. Our only issue was that there were no garbage bags and as a big group we needed them, but management was responsive when we let them know and they let us know what to do. I would definitely stay here again. It’s an excellent places for families with kids and pets! Our pups enjoyed the beach and yard! I cannot recommend this place enough if you have a large family or group. There are so many rooms and bathrooms for everyone to have space and privacy. Can’t wait to stay again!

Management team was really responsive. However, The home is showing signs of age and the outdoors have not been very well maintained. The “beach” is shells not sand so no barefoot activities. There was active construction on a neighboring property which created some noise.

We spent three nights in mid July in Saunderstown, what a great experience this was! It's directly on the bay with just a few steps to the private access to the water and dock, allowing for daily dips and some (unsuccessful) attempts at fishing. Gardens and landscaping are simply lovely, the location is very private and quiet, all you hear are the soothing sounds of nature and gentle waves. The house itself is very spacious, plus two additional bedrooms in their own little bungalows. Everything was perfectly clean, the kitchen has all the equipment one could need on vacation. Although the location feels remote and quiet, it is only a quick 10 minute drive to the downtown area of Saunderstown with great restaurants and charming shops, and around 15-20 minutes to Narragansett and Point Judith. Check in was super easy and straightforward with the door code, hosts very proactive to make sure the stay is as pleasant as possible. Great host, great house, would stay again!

Peaceful, quiet and serene, beautiful property and grounds. Large old farmhouse decor with beach house views. The kitchen was made with home cooked meals in mind. Huge refrigerator and freezer as well as a large beverage cooler. Everything you need at your fingertips-filled with amenities. We felt like it was our home as it was so cozy and inviting. The house has a lot of history and belonged to a family who truly made it a home. The boys fished most the day off the dock while the women relaxed on the sun deck off the master bedroom. Plenty of space for a large or multi-family vacation and the 2 private cottages were perfect for the younger couples. The location is 16 minutes Newport and midway between Narragansett and Providence. We were in town for our son’s graduation from URI and it was a 12 minute drive—so a perfect location. The host responded quickly and was very accommodating. We would definitely choose this property again when we come back to visit.
