“Location was great. However, the house is old and not very well maintained. Lots of things were broken, like lights and the stair railing. It was also very limited in supplies. We had to buy our own paper towels and toilet paper as there were only 2.5 rolls. There also weren’t enough towels for all of us, only 4 when we booked for 6. They were prompt in responding but we had to follow up and they didn’t bring more towels until 24 hours later. Also no soap for the dishwasher so we couldn’t run it. Lots of other little things that seemed to be overlooked or not maintained, like the TV in the living room not set up or plugged in, the trash bins outside overflowing upon arrival, etc. Overall I was expecting much more for the price but it was fine for our needs which was a place to sleep while in town for an event.”

“The home is lovely - pictures accurately show the house. Kitchen has good amenities, bathroom clean and nice. Great shower! Our only issue was communicating with the rental group - they were very slow to reply to a very small and basic question we had. It actually took two days and our rental was only three nights so by the time we heard back from it was too late. Very odd because normally my airbnb experiences are that the hosts are so very responsive. Other than that the house was terrific and Newport was a fantastic place to visit for a long weekend. On a side note - highly recommend a visit to the Newport Winery - fantastic!”
