Vacasa in Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania

“It was a let down for my family. We assumed there was a trampoline and a working boat and a working sauna but was only informed of these things either not working or not being there after we booked it. There were ants in the cupboards, the beds were uncomfortable, and all the images were misleading with fake lighting. No activities to do at the house besides fishing on a tiny dock and playing board games and we had to go out of town all the time. Plenty of other houses that were the same price or lower with more things. Because of how short my stay was we didn’t get to do any water sports, and we rented the house FOR THAT REASON and we were notified the boat had a hole in it AFTER we booked it. The house itself was cozy with a nice layout, and the best part of the house was the shower, it was an awesome shower so if you’re looking for an amazing shower this is the place. Access to the lake was convenient but without a boat , eh that ruined it and the beach doesn’t have have rentals.”

“We are returning visitors and we had a great time as usual! There are a few minor issues that should be addressed. The front and back doors/screens should be replaced. The beds/mattresses are in need of replacement as well. Also, unfortunately the sauna was not working during our stay and hope to have that fixed when we return next year. With all of that being said, we do enjoy the place very much, had a great time, and we will be returning next year.”

“House was nice. Beds need to be replaced not comfortable. House was tidy but floors not exceptionally clean. Couch needs to be replaced. Outside of property could be cleaned up as well.”

“Any issue we had was resolved quickly and kindly. Place was great- only issues were the mattresses- the one had holes in the foam.”

“This was not our first time at this home, and we will be coming back for more! We like the layout of the home and the area by the lake. One issue by the lake was that one part of the grass wasn't mowed so it was not an area where you could comfortably sit because of the tall weeds. Luckily, we were able to sit on the other side to enjoy the lake. The biggest issue that we had was that on our first night there one of the ceiling fan blades in the bedroom broke off and went flying across the room. We were all very lucky that no one was in the room at the time. I immefiately texted and called about the problem. However, I had to make several more calls and messages to find out why something wasn't being done about it. A few says later I finally was told that the local representative would be coming out after my stay was over. Eventhough we still had a wonderful vacation, and plan to stay at the house again, a representative should have come out to assess the situation while we were there.”
