“Stay away from this home if you have small kids. Upstairs deck has no rails. I reported this to Airbnb as a major safety issue and I'm not sure what action is being taken and when. The house is old and I feel is being renovated. We could feel the dust in cabinets and building materials left in bedroom. There was no heat in living room and kitchen when it was below 50 degrees outside. The maintenance person showed up next day around noon in spite of 24/7 service after repeated phone calls. The kitchen sink stopped draining, which was again fixed by the maintenance person. He was in the house for a good 2-3 hours fixing stuff. The house has basic amenities. The company offered me $75 refund for a cold night when I was charged $310 for a night. Airbnb offered a fair refund of $175. Overall unpleasant experience. If your group is all adults and just looking for a place to sleep and shower I guess it will pass. But things may break.”

“The house was clean and fine - it provided the basics. It was just very worn around the edges and dark. The description on the website led us to believe that it was somewhat higher end, but it didn't match that expectation. While it was fine for sleeping, it isn't a place that you would enjoy spending your day. However, on the positive side, the AvantStay staff were very responsive and even provided a rebate after learning of some of the items that needed repair, which we appreciated very much. Also the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and items for cooking. Although a new toaster oven or toaster is greatly needed. The one in the house overheats quickly.”
